I started studying my religion seriously. And I realized something striking: no one had gathered what I was looking for. Quality Islamic resources were scattered, often austere, rarely designed for the life of a modern Muslim woman. So I created what I would have loved to find.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Iqra' (Read).” It's the first word revealed of the Quran. It's also the name of this shop. A reminder that learning is at the heart of our faith.

The vision

Murmures d’Iqra was born from a conviction: Islam does not oppose modernity, it illuminates it. Every teaching of the Prophet ﷺ has a reason. And contemporary neuroscience, psychology, nutrition and medicine now confirm what Islam taught 1,400 years ago. This bridge between the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ and science is at the heart of everything we create.
